If you need help in the following areas…. Please reach out.

If you are homeschooling /remotely/digitally educating your kids, and you need assistance with understanding something that has been assigned for your child, or if you need more resources, just give me a shout. I’ve taught 2nd-6th for 30 years.  I am also lucky to have amazing friends that teach k-12, ESOL, and Sped. If I can’t answer your question, I will send you to my best resources…. fellow teachers who also just want to get kiddos the support they need. Hang in their sweet friends.  We WILL get through this!

Our food ministry always needs to restock its shelves for the weekly Snack Packs, Manna Bags, and Pantry Boxes used for our neighbors in need.

Items needed are: large cans of chicken, small cans of meat (tuna, ham, chicken), macaroni and cheese, soup, beans (canned or dry), instant potatoes or stuffing, rice (box or bag), pasta, vegetables, fruit, oatmeal, breakfast cereal, peanut butter, tomatoes, tomato sauce, meals (cans or packages, e.g. Spaghetti-O’s, Mac-n- Beef), fruit cups, cheese or peanut butter crackers, granola bars, bottled water, applesauce cups, Vienna sausages, trail mix, mints. Diapers are often needed. Pet food could be an additional item if available. Monetary donations also are gratefully accepted.

Pick up a FREE Manna Bag at the altar to keep in your vehicle to give to persons in need (at intersections, for example). Manna is a word from the Bible that means “food from Heaven miraculously provided by God.” You and Elm Springs UMC are God’s instruments to provide food, which ultimately is provided by God through us.

This year we are packing 68 Snack Packs per week for students at Willis Shaw Elementary School!  Volunteers may be needed to pack and deliver all items.  $90 can provide snack packs for one student for an entire school year so monetary donations are always gratefully accepted
